Wearable Art with a Heart
Cat Tee Jessica Hill, a painter and designer living in Nashville, TN, has created special, custom-designed t-shirts for PUPP!

You can purchase a shirt featuring a cat (pictured), dog, birds, or a bunny here and the proceeds from these fashionable tees will help fund PUPP's free services for people and pets.

See more of Jessica's work here.

In addition to these fabulous designs, PUPP now has a store on Cafe Press!  Check it out here.

PUPP Board Members Visit PAWS in San Francisco

PAWS has a mission very similar to the mission of PUPP and since our founding, the staff at PAWS has been an invaluable resource for PUPP and has provided us with great support.

Earlier this month, two members of PUPP's board, Rachel Herman and JR Hernandez, were able to visit PAWS headquarters in San Francisco, CA and see their programs in effect first-hand.  Both Ms. Herman and Mr. Hernandez were inspired by their visit and are already invigorating PUPP with their enthusiasm.

We would like to thank PAWS for their hospitality and guidance and we look forward to a long and mutually-beneficial relationship as we each continue to grow.

Calling All Volunteers!
Gigi Looking for a volunteer opportunity that helps both people and animals?

Would you like to help prevent someone from having to give up their lifelong pet and companion?

PUPP is a 100% volunteer-based organization and we need your help to provide pet care assistance to people and pets in need.  With the generous assistance of animal trainers/behavior consultants Kerrie McKeon of Cat Sleuth, Mike Rueb of Mike Rueb Animal Behavior, and Claire Cario of Barnyard Behavior, we have been working tirelessly to develop the most effective volunteer training program for PUPP's needs.

If you are interested in getting involved, please email us at your earliest convenience; our first volunteer training session will be held this summer.

Animal companions offer therapy and support... and research shows they can extend your lifespan and improve your health.  However, too often the elderly and disabled have to give up their pets because they can no longer care for them and cannot afford the high cost of dog walkers or pet sitters.

PUPP’s mission is to keep pets in their homes.
PUPP’s mission is to help people by helping pets.

We are a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
We need volunteers to help the elderly and disabled care for their pets by providing the following services:
dog walking | feedings | playtime | brushings | litter scooping
